The Complainant is a leaseholder of the Landlord. He holds the lease of a first floor maisonette. The occupant of the ground floor flat is also a leaseholder and the Landlord owns the freehold to both properties. The Complainant complained to the Ombudsman that the Landlord had (a) failed to consult him before it leased some land adjacent to his property to the occupant of the ground floor flat, (b) failed to consult him before the Landlord gave consent to the proposed works...
